The present study evaluated the physicochemical characteristics and antioxidant activity of 13 commercial honeys from diverse floral origin, produced in Portugal. The values of electrical conductivity of cardoon and pennyroyal honeys were superior to the maximum limits defined by European legislation. Citrus, strawberry tree, and 1 sample of lavender honeys had values of diastase activity below those determined by European legislation. Strawberry tree, pennyroyal, and cardoon honeys had the highest amounts of potassium that coincided with the highest electrical conductivity. Strawberry tree honey was the most effective as antioxidant along with cardoon and heather honeys. This ability was strongly correlated with the amounts of phenols and flavonoids and not with the levels of vitamin C or proline. 相似文献

The effects of conventional (CV) and microwave (MW) heating on total soluble solid (TSS) content, total anthocyanin content (TAC), total phenolic content (TPC) and antioxidant activity of raspberry juice obtained from two cultivars of Amol (AM) and Siyahkal (SK) were scrutinised. Antioxidant activity of the juices was measured by 2,2 diphenyl‐1‐picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) radical scavenging capacity and expressed as EC50 value. In the both methods, the concentration rate constant for the juices was significantly decreased by increasing operational pressure from 12 to 100 kPa (P < 0.05). A first‐order reaction kinetic model was successfully fitted for the degradation of monomeric anthocyanins at all operating pressures. The results also showed that thermal treatment of MW compared CV in both SK and AM cultivars caused a lower decrease in the TAC, TPC and antioxidant activity. Moreover, the changes in trend of the antioxidant activities due to the thermal treatment were positively correlated with the TPC (r = 0.74, P < 0.05) and TAC (r = 0.61, P < 0.05). 相似文献

This paper presents the results of an experimental study to measure professionalism for the purpose of assessing a professional development program. Soft skills such as professionalism are increasingly recognized as important, yet measuring and assessing these skills, typically best acquired experientially, has remained challenging. Following established research, we conceptualize professionalism as a construct with the dimensions of autonomy, commitment, belief in public service, self-regulation, and the use of a professional organization as a major referent. We demonstrate how these dimensions can be expressed and the professionalism of free-form text responses measured. These responses are reflections submitted online by participants in a professional development program for undergraduate business majors known as the Management Achievement Program (MAP). Latent semantic analysis is employed to measure the professionalism of these responses and to assess MAP along each of the five dimensions. The method demonstrated in this paper has several advantages over existing methods for assessment, which can be costly, require considerable time and training, and are often tied to subjective interpretation. Feature selection is very important for feature‐based relation classification tasks. While most of the existing works on feature selection rely on linguistic information acquired using parsers, this letter proposes new features, including probabilistic and semantic relatedness features, to manifest the relatedness between patterns and certain relation types in an explicit way. The impact of each feature set is evaluated using both a chisquare estimator and a performance evaluation. The experiments show that the impact of relatedness features is superior to existing well‐known linguistic features, and the contribution of relatedness features cannot be substituted using other normally used linguistic feature sets. 相似文献

Recognition of hydrocarbon migration is so vital for petroleum exploration. Developing intelligent systems (artificial neural network) enable experts to achieve more details from seismic data. Although detection of migration direction using seismic data is difficult, Chimney-cube analysis overcomes this problem. The authors used several filters, seismic attributes, neural network (supervised and unsupervised), and interpreters' viewpoints. In supervised method artificial and human intelligence cover their limitations and in unsupervised method the authors eliminate the experts' views. Chimney recognizes the migration direction and locates the spill points, mud volcanoes, gas seepages, sealing, and nonsealing faults and finally the origin of hydrocarbon. 相似文献

石油贸易不是简单的商品贸易,它体现出更多的政治属性和金融属性,这也是世界大国在国际石油贸易计价货币上博弈的重要原因。美国在二战后,凭借经济实力的增长和布雷顿森林体系的建立,确立了"石油美元"的地位,并从中获得了大量好处。然而随着美元的持续贬值、"双赤字"问题以及"新特里芬悖论"等原因,"石油美元"体制日渐衰落。欧元、卢布、日元等欲成为新的石油贸易计价垄断货币。国际石油贸易的多元货币计价体制必将变为现实,其未来发展有几种可能,一是以多个大国货币作为计价基准,构建石油贸易的"多元混合货币"计价体制;二是以"国际石油货币"为基准;三是以特别提款权(SDR)作为计价基准。面对石油定价和交易货币的激烈争夺,中国应充分利用当前世界市场上大量的石油贸易盈余,既要创造有利于投资的金融和法律环境,又要避免给我国金融市场和国家经济安全造成负面影响。同时,应寻求建立自己的能源期货交易机构,以更有效地参与国际能源期货交易。 相似文献
